JACKSONVILLE REGIONAL TRANSPORTATION CENTER (JRTC)
The Jacksonville Transportation Authority’s new Jacksonville Regional Transportation Center opened in May 2020 and connects intercity, regional and local transportation providers including JTA, Greyhound, Megabus, RedCoach, First Coast Flyer, local bus routes, Skyway/U2C and other modes of travel. The 5-story, 40,000 sf, building is located in the LaVilla district of downtown Jacksonville. HSJ served as a consultant on the project overseeing the design and construction of the facility’s safety and security systems.
